Up Your Viva!

I don’t know about you but I love me some clever marketing. The past couple of days I have seen a few television adverts highlighting the release of a new Freeview Channel called Viva. I’ve embedded it below for your viewing pleasure.

Not only is the casting of the two lads brilliant, the subtle actions and timing are right up my street.

concept for the advert was make something memorable with a catchphrase that will get people repeating it. loads of companies do it but this for me was the worst creative campaign I have seen in a while, even worse than go-compar-o the advert for gocompare.com ripped off from compare the meerkat. though to be honest 'up your viva' has worked incredibly well!

It's alright - it's definitely better than some of the other similar ads that are about at the moment. As it's advertising a TV channel, I think it works quite well.
