It’s not often I would title a blog post with a Macbeth quote but after a rather nice act of kindness from a stranger at the weekend, I have been compelled to use it.
Myself and Katie were in town looking to get a few bits for our holiday. We ventured into a jewellers and found the rings we wanted for our wedding, a very nice assistant making sure we got all we needed as we laid down quite a hefty sum of money.
Moving onto a shop called GAME, Katie wanted me to get Guitar Hero 3, so much so she bought it for me. As we came up to pay, a random guy paying on the till next to me asks me if I want his points, by this he means his GAME reward points. I was like YEAH! and duly gave him my card. Little did I know that the guy was buying a brand new Xbox 360, Guitar Hero 3 and three other games. The points total meant that I received £7.50 in points just from his transaction, meaning that in the future I can get games at a reduced price.
Who says that the art of giving is dead? It’s a shame I wasn’t able to return the favour!

I to my hat off to that guy! I’m sure it goes without saying, but there are those who still believe in giving!
Tip…I meant tip my hat… haha
That’s the sort of thing I do - if I am buying something in Game and there’s a little kid buying something, I’ll give him or her my points. And by the same token, if I am in Tesco and there’s a “Doddery Old Dear” behind me with a clubcard, she gets the points.
And I shop like the best of them ;D
There are indeed kind people in the world. There are also people who don’t reply to e-mail. *ahem*
Those that don’t reply to email are evil.

a random act of kindness is always great. It reiterates the fact that there is still life on the planet
Dan, don’t burn him; I need his reply so I can move on with my life!
