A story of a man who explains to his daughter how he met his mother and other women. I was left feeling nonplussed as I just thought he should man up. Good for women, boring for the blokes.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
Katie's Review: I was surprised at this film, it had me giggling throughout, I highly recommend it.
0.3Katie's Review: Whilst not the not appropriate title, it's a lazy watch for a quiet Sunday evening. Not in the least bit scary but gruesome at times.
0.3Took a while to get going, throws a twist in with a main character and the CGI is pretty naff. Good for a DVD rental but not worth wasting your "hard earned" on in the theatres.
0.3Watchable but very very girly. Watch it with the Mrs and she will love you forever.
0.3Witty, different and refreshing. If you watch this and don't cringe and laugh at the same time, you aren't human (or a friend of mine!).
0.3Watched this in our hotel room on our Honeymoon and thought it would be a poor film....I was pleasantly surprised to see an accomplished film that entertained thoroughly. Have a watch, it's a good Friday night in movie.
0.3Terrible acting but fun to watch. Lennox Lewis as the Rasta has to be the worst piece of casting ever. Vinnie Jones does an alright job.
0.3Only in America. Teeth clenchingly clichéd and soppy. Not bad for wasting a Sunday afternoon.
0.3Blood, guts, bad American accents, fighting, more bad American accents. Some good actions scenes but on the whole forgettable.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the...
Long story short...it's the worst of them all. However it is not a bad film. Enjoyed the story even if it was scarcely believable and had to chuckle at the Nuked Fridge moment.
0.3Grotesque, badly acted but enjoyable to watch. You laugh at when the actors are talking to each other infront of a green screen and giggle when one of the male characters starts acting all macho. At the end of the day it's just good, albeit dirty, fun.
0.3One of the last remaining horrors that me and Katie have yet to watch together, Stir of Echoes is a solid film with a decent script. It's a bit slow in parts but on the whole it is entertaining and can cause a jump if the volume is high enough.
0.3A chick flick that I think is OK for guys to like. There are some annoying parts and too much welled up emotion but on the most part it flows and entertains. Weirdest thing is seeing what Gerard Butler looks like when he isn't shouting 'This Is Spartaaa!'.

Laberinto del fauno, El (2006)
A great little nugget of a film from the director of Hellboy, good story, nice setting and good characters. Liked this movie a lot.
0.3The film started off well and looked a promising story. It got a tad convoluted in places and the ending was kind of weak. It's a long long film.
0.3One of my favourite films ever, seen it many times and it doesn't get old. Apparently there's going to be a sequel, can't wait!
0.3As a fan of Neil Gaiman, I enjoyed this but the story wasn't on par with that of American God's or Neverwhere.
0.3One of those films you think is completely different to what you think it's about. Witty, clever and touching in places, a worthy addition to my collection.
0.3Solid acting, good plot and plenty of action. One of the best films Ive seen in a long time.
0.3Chick flick film, funny in places and generally predictable. Good for a DVD rental or a trip to the movies with your Mrs.

The Last King of Scotland (2006)
Compelling and thought provoking film. Whitaker and McAvoy are pretty damn awesome. I recommend this film wholeheartedly.
0.3Poor film, acting is weak and I lost interest after ten minutes.
0.3Entertaining but predictable. Almost insults the viewer by pulling every cliché known to man and highlighting many inaccuracies.
0.3Interesting but (in my mind) points that I am not completely comfortable with. I think we know we need to be a lot greener (for ourselves), but I think Earth has got Global Warming covered.
0.3A film that's so bad it is good. Full of blood, guts and lots of dead burmese soldiers. Sly is OK of course :P
0.3Started slow but got a little better as it wore on. The acting and dialogue were odd but engaging. A weird film.
0.3Complete waste of time, bad acting and a silly plot, dont waste your money on this.
0.3Blood, guts and an intriguing story....what else do you need? Yes its ridiculous but hey, it's the Saw franchise!

Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007)
Really really enjoyed the film, even though it doesn't give you the most accurate portrayal of her reign, it still provides good viewing and history lesson in one (and also proves horses can swim :P)
0.3A delightful film, heart-warming and makes you realise your own family can be just as dysfunctional. Really liked it, watch it if you can.
0.3A good movie, very stereotypical and the story has it's weak moments. The action and some of the subtle funny bits make it enjoyable.
0.3Very funny, very witty and a genuinely feel good film. Will definitely add to my collection.
0.3This movie was just like it's name......Super Bad. Yes the dick jokes were funny the first time, when your rolling onto the hundredth time, it's just tiresome. This film is nothing more than a DVD rental.
