Now why do you wanna go and put starz in their eyes?

This is more of a multimedia update, I bring to you suggestions and purchases I have made over the last weekend.

1. A new Mobile Phone
For 6 months I have put up with the god awful Samsung E900. The touchscreen was too sensitive so that when you tried to show a text message or a photo to a friend, it would cancel what you had at that time and take you back to the main screen without any warning. The ringtones were tinny, you couldnt customize much and basically it was only a matter of time until I got a new one.

The mission on Saturday on morning was to get a new Sony Ericsson phone, I had money from selling a few bits on Ebay so I could afford to get something I wanted. I searched around the main dealers in the high street when my girlfriends mother suggested I use her upgrade to shave some money off the phone I wanted. I managed to secure a Sony Ericsson w850i which came with a 1GB memory card and lots of useful features like 3G calling, complete customization and very good battery life. I went home a happy chappy!

Its been a while!

Apologies for that.

The real reason is that I have been extraordinarily busy and blogging wasnt one of the things that really interested me

Well, I suppose I should give you an idea of what made me so busy. Basically the idea of me going into business has become a reality. I have formed a Limited company with three other people, two of whom I work with currently and the other is a contractor again for who I am currently employed by. We are going to be a new media company, one that serves websites, graphic design, IT installations and marketing solutions. And that so far is about it, I wont go into the gory details but our first client stands to put our business in very good stead.

Other than that its been the same old. I have been made an Assistant Manager at work, this basically means I am more accountable for my actions, I have taken on a shiteload of accounting work and get people moaning at me. This also means I can bark at the minions and get my every wish taken care of (i.e. Cups of tea, lunch bought for me and blaming people for the inefficiency of their work!). I am still gyming, I go 2-3 times a week and have made steady progress in the weights I can lift, I play football 3 times a week not only for my team but the 2nd team of my club and some occasional 5-a-side (hoping to keep my New Year Resolutions ;)).

Things are great with my girlfriend, it’s been four months now and I cant believe how fast it’s gone and how far we have come. We have had our rough patches, but who doesnt have them. She has told me of her plan for me for Valentines Day which involves getting a limo upto London, a nice meal and then heading to the theatre to see the show “We Will Rock You”. It’s going to be an awesome evening, I cant wait. I just have to do something that lives up to that! Shes definately the girl I could spend the rest of my life with, I just hope one day I get to make that happen, if she doesnt get annoyed with me and dump me!

Thats about it really, I will make an effort to write more often, I find it helps gets thing off my chest. And…….Skudd, keep quiet about your involvement!

My New Years Resolutions

I guess most bloggers will be doing very similar posts, but hey what the hell! I think a lot of these will be achievable though

Lets see eh?

1. Buy a house.

Yeah, the biggie first. I am now in a position where I can afford a place, not a massive place but a place all the same. I want to buy a two-bedroomed house in the local area that is relatively modern in design, mainly so I don’t have to set aside money to renovate kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. I have already been buying all the gadgetry to furnish the place, we have routers, computers, consoles, 32 inch HDTV’s and a boatload of clothing to fill a double wardrobe. Finding a place and getting it for a good price is the hardest thing, luckily I have a friend who can do all it for me for a small price and all I have to do is find the house I want

2. Develop my muscle mass.

Sounds weird ay? Basically I am an active gym goer and I work out about 2-3 times a week. I have a very general workout routine that touches on all the main muscle groups. I basically have to up the rep’s and make sure that I keep the itensity as it is at the moment. Myself and my gym buddy have pushed harder the last couple of weeks as we are easily some of the smallest guys in the gym (not for lack of trying, there are some monsters in there).

I am on the protein shakes, they seem to be helping.

3. Make money.

I want to start my own business, sell lots whether it’s goods or services and retire by the time I’m 30.

4. Keep my relationship strong.

Keep my girlfriend happy and enjoy the gift of companionship (not that I didnt already..heh!).

5. Enjoy gaming.

Get back into gaming and enjoy Xbox Live and the like.

Well thats about it, nothing major, just some small things I want to enjoy
